We are thrilled to share that the MARS® platform was showcased at the ceremonial opening of the new Centre of Excellence CREATIC facilities in Brno at Masaryk University’s Faculty of Medicine on April 8, 2026.

The opening of the new CREATIC facilities marked a significant milestone in the development of advanced therapies in the Czech Republic and across the broader Central European region. Focused on the research, development, and manufacturing of cell and gene therapies for patients with rare and serious diseases, CREATIC brings together cutting-edge infrastructure, clinical expertise, and translational
research capabilities under one roof. The newly opened facility offers more than 1,000 square meters of research and manufacturing space, including certified cleanrooms built to Good Manufacturing Practice standards, along with advanced platforms for genomic analysis, cell engineering, and quality control.
“We are excited to see MARS Bar was selected by CREATIC and Masaryk University. Supporting dendritic-cell vaccine and monocyte therapy development programs reflects our commitment to enabling advanced therapy teams with scalable, high-quality cell processing technologies.” — Yuchen Zhou, CEO of Applied Cells.
CREATIC Centre of Excellence was established with the support of the European Union and the Czech Republic. The CREATIC project represents a strategic investment in research infra structure and in the future of advanced therapies, with the potential to improve outcomes for patients facing rare and difficult-to-treat diseases.
